Mystery Cookies

I haven't figured out what the "mystery" part of it is yet...

Ingredients:

1 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1 bag choc chips
Saltine Crackers

Directions:

1- boil brown sugar and butter in pot for 1 minute
2- lay saltines flat on cookie sheet (over foil). Pour butter and sugar on saltines.
3- bake at 350 for 5 minutes
4- once caramel stops boiling, pour choc chips onto crackers; spread while melting to cover evenly

  1. I love these cookies, but for me the mystery is how they are going to turn out. Sometimes mine are soggy, sometimes they are super crispy, and sometimes they're right in the middle. :)

  2. Same, I have yet to figure out how to make these amazingly wonderful (they come out different every time), and I have been fooling around with this recipe since my mom would let me in the kitchen.
